I love photography, I adore reminiscing about the memories attached and I’m obsessed with always capturing the present moment. My home is plastered in framed pictures and it’s no exaggeration that literally 80% of these favourite photographs have been taken by Ailsa. I love her natural, laid back, relaxed style. Every newborn shoot (ive had three so far...!) I’ve insisted on posed costumed pictures but when I look back, the ones I cherish most are the sneaky “between shots” pictures that she notices and subtly captures. That’s the reason I choose her every single time. It’s honestly worth every single penny. They are the first possessions I would save in a fire and I love the continuity and the documentation of our lives - I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

I honestly cannot thank you enough! They are even more amazing than I could have hoped. We were both so nervous about being in front of a camera and how our wedding pictures would be but honestly you have put our fears to rest and even made us look amazing!!! ...and the results, WOW!
Ailsa was recommended from a family friend and knowing nothing about photographers and photography, other than a hunch and just a good gut feeling, I though just give it a try... And I'm SO glad we did. Ailsa is lovely. She felt very much like a guest at the wedding happily snapping away. Not once did I feel like I was being papped or directed in any way.... (like I have felt at other weddings) And the results, WOW! Myself and husband both cried when we watched the slideshow. Which to me speaks volumes about the quality of the photos and how personal they felt. A picture can be one of your most treasured items and our wedding photos certainly are. They absolutely capture the happiness of the day, and we will remember and cherish for a long long time. The only difficulty now is narrowing down the choices of photos to fill the ever-expanding photo album!

Finding Ailsa was one of the biggest successes of our wedding planning. I spent hours searching for someone who would capture our day with a relaxed style and a real eye for detail, and Ailsa did just that. Her approach seemed effortless; we barely noticed her presence and yet she managed to document so many incredible moments throughout the day.
Ailsa also managed to get the balance just right when taking group photos - she was assertive enough to get the best possible photos but friendly enough to ensure everyone felt completely comfortable. Everyone who has seen our wedding photos has remarked on how talented Ailsa is and we are so pleased that (with no instruction at all!) she captured all of the little details that we spent so long making and setting up.
Ailsa also went well beyond the call of duty as she arrived earlier than we had agreed and stayed later so she could get some night-time shots we had asked for. We really can't recommend her highly enough!
